About Me

I was diagnosed with Stage 0 breast cancer in 2016 when I THOUGHT I was the healthiest I’d ever been. During and after the traditional medical treatment, I FELT there had to be a better way and I was looking for answers to what health really is. I began exploring the world of holistic health care and functional medicine and learned there is a whole world focused, not on sick care, but on OPTIMAL HEALTH and I was hooked. I have tried many modalities and continue to experiment on myself as I move through the changes life brings with perimenopause. I have always loved learning and this newfound interest in functional medicine led me to the ADAPT functional medicine health coaching program. I knew I needed a way to share what I have learned!!

I have spent 25 years as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) working primarily as an internal auditor since 2001. My background as an Internal Auditor may not seem like a natural fit with my interest in optimal health and health coaching. However, I have spent the last 20+ years finding problems that need to be solved, analyzing human nature and how people get “stuck”, and helping people develop solutions and implement strategies to solve their problems.

I now marry my internal audit skills and my ADAPT training to help clients quit procrastinating and quit "shoulding" all over themselves. I focus on what you want to achieve and we work together to determine how you can manage lifestyle levers to develop the lifelong habits which will create both healthspan (think active, doing the things you want to do) and life span (think years).

For fun, I hang out with my long term boyfriend (since 2008), travel as frequently as possible (anywhere) and take food tours when I get there, grow food in my backyard, and read as many books as I can.
